Jong Gwan (John) Hwang, Senior Paralegal, has been with Choulos, Choulos & Wyle for over ten years, providing support in all aspects of the litigation process, from initial client interaction to trial preparation. John's professionalism, experience, and competence, in combination with his easy going manner, make him a favorite with our clients. John's paralegal skills are well known throughout the Bay Area, and he has also taught continuing education courses to legal assistants. John also brings his motorcycling expertise and involvement in the motorcycling community to our firm, and is an invaluable asset in the preparation of two wheel vehicle cases. John is very well versed in the mechanics, physics, and theory associated with the operation of motorcycles, and works hand in hand with our clients as well as with experts to present the dynamics of two wheeled vehicle accidents in terms non-riders can easily understand. John has been riding motorcycles since 1989, and has been active in the Bay Area motorcycling community since he moved here in 1994.
John has been an administrator of the Bay Area Riders Forum, a site dedicated to San Francisco Bay Area motorcycling, since 2002, and has been an integral part in the development of one of the Bay Area's greatest motorcycling resources. Some of you may know him better as "Baptistro," or as "Bap," his BARF handles. In his efforts to contribute more to the motorcycling community, and to increase awareness and safety for two wheel riders on the road, John helped the Bay Area Rider's Forum initiate the High School Motorcycle Safety Seminars, with the support of the California Motorcycle Safety Program, to educate future riders. John is actually a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Coach, and has been teaching motorcycle safety since July 2006. John teaches the Basic Rider Course and the Experienced Rider Course regularly in Mountain View and in Alameda. John is also involved in motorcycle racing as the Pit Manager for Net Moto Racing, a local and national effort. Choulos, Choulos & Wyle is proud to be a Net Moto (Bay Area Riders Forum) Racing sponsor, as well.
